2. Forum Mining: Who's Talking About Your Topic?

Your next step is to discover whether people are talking about your idea/ topic online.

Go back to Google, and enter your idea plus "forum."

If there are forums, that's a very good sign. People care about your topic, and they talk about it.

No forums? Heed the signs, and look for another topic.

3. Promotion Starts Now: Create a Blog

Once you've tested your idea, and you're as sure as you can be that people are desperate for your information, it's time to create a blog.

Over the years, I've found that testing my ideas on blogs is the easiest way to gauge reactions. It has an added benefit: you've started marketing your ebook, and will build an audience before you launch your product.
